अभिनेता अजय देवगन, सैफ अली खान और काजोल की हालिया फिल्म 'तानाजी: अनसंग वॉरियर' बॉक्स ऑफिस पर अपना जलवा दिखा रही है। इस फिल्म ने साल 2020 की पहली सुपरहिट फिल्म का तमगा हासिल कर लिया है और फिल्म का बॉक्स ऑफिस कलेक्शन शुरूआती 10 दिनों में 166 करोड़ के आंकड़े को पार गया है। इतनी जबरदस्त सफलता हासिल करने के बाद भी इस फिल्म को लेकर कई लोगों ने आलोचना भी की है। फिल्म के आलोचकों के लिस्ट में जो सबसे ज्यादा चौंकाने वाला नाम है वो है इसी फिल्म में एक्टिंग करने वाले सैफ अली खान।
तानाजी में विलेन का रोल निभाने वाले सैफ अली खान ने रविवार को एक ऐसा बयान दिया जिसकी वजह से उनकी आलोचना हो रही है। दरअसल उन्होंने एक इंटरव्यू में कहा कि तानाजी में जो दिखाया गया है, वह इतिहास का हिस्सा नहीं है। उन्होंने ऐतिहासित तथ्यों से छेड़छाड़ को गलत बताते हुए कहा इस फिल्म में मेरा रोल दिलचस्प था और कुछ वजहों से मैं स्टैंड नहीं ले पाया, हो सकता है कि अगली बार करूं।
सैफ यहीं नहीं रुके और उन्होंने इस दौरान भारत देश की अवधारणा को लेकर भी सवाल उठा दिया। एक इंटरव्यू में उन्होंने कहा कि 'अग्रेजों के आने से पहले भारत का कोई अस्तित्व नहीं था।' बता दें की इस बयान के कारण सोशल मीडिया पर सैफ की काफी खिंचाई की जा रही है। कई सोशल मीडिया यूजर्स ने सैफ के इतिहास के ज्ञान और उनके इतिहास बोध पर प्रश्नचिन्ह खड़े किये हैं।
